History

Yorkshire Roofing and RoofMax Solar, a family owned business, was founded in 1988, based on quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and competitive pricing. Yorkshire has grown into one of the premier roofing companies in Northern California. The original owner retired from roofing in 2005. Yorkshire Roofing was re-incorporated under a new license in March of 2005 by longtime employee/Production Manager Kenny Falconi. Yorkshire Roofing continues to be family owned and operated. Despite some tough economic times, the company continues to thrive.

Experience

With over 10,000 roofs installed, countless gutters and down spouts, insulation, PV Solar, and with over 120 years of combined experience in the roofing industry, our managers and Yorkshire Roofing understand what it takes to install the highest quality roofing system. Most of our office staff and sales staff, have been with Yorkshire Roofing for over 20 years. Most of our crews have been with us for over 15 years, and some as long as 25 years. Due to our family atmosphere, we have a very low turnover in staff.

Company Size

We install approximately 8 to 10 jobs per week, with a staff of 20 to 30 employees. This makes us a medium sized roofing company. We are large enough to ensure you get quality service and state of the art equipment, but small enough to ensure that you don’t get “lost in the shuffle”. A manager is assigned to every project to ensure that the job is progressing smoothly. We do re-roofing, gutters and down spouts, PV Solar, insulation, skylights, and Solatube, work on individual homes as well as large commercial projects for NYSE listed companies. Should you ever have an emergency, you can reach us 24 hours a day. Our “after hours” answering service is connected to all our managers home and cell phones, so you can reach us at all times. We are there when you need us~!

Accreditations

Yorkshire Roofing is a certified installer for many of our Manufacturing Partners. Some companies we represent are Owens Corning, GAF, and Boral stone-coated steel. We are members of the Better Business Bureau, National Roofing Contractors Association, Roofing Contractors Association of California, and many others. Yorkshire Roofing is a Platinum Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning. We are a Master Elite Contractor for GAF. Not many contractors qualify for these accreditations that allow us to offer enhanced warranties to our clients that not only extend the standard product warranty, but covers our workmanship by the manufacturer for an extended period of time.
